I'm baaaaack!!!
First of all, Happy Birthday to the divine Mrs Hamilbutton, who had her big day on Saturday.
We "did" London, including climbing up the Monument (160 feet, 311 steps, 1 near coronary, extremely large helping of Fear Of Heights), a brisk walk across town as the tube was shut and then a great couple of days with our friends in Hampshire before a long old journey home today. This included a Virgin Bendolino train that I'm pretty sure could have kept a small village in Iceland toasty for the whole of a particularly harsh winter. And then boiled the kettle.
Good to be back home - seems to have snowed here again. In this winter ever going to end?
(Tonight I'm half-paying attention to an interview with Brian May)
